Live Wedding Painting

I’m now offering live wedding paintings—and I couldn’t be more excited!
To give each couple the care they deserve, I’m only booking three weddings max per month. That means spots go fast! If you're thinking “Yes please!”—now’s the time to snag your date before it’s gone.

There’s something magical about capturing your wedding day as it unfolds. If you’re new to the idea—live painting means I’ll be on-site at your wedding, painting in real time. Whether it’s your first dance, your walk down the aisle, or another meaningful moment, your painting becomes a one-of-a-kind keepsake you’ll treasure forever.

How does it work?
I’ll arrive 1–2 hours before the event to set up and start on the background. Then, I’ll snap a photo of the special moment you want captured—your first dance, the ceremony, or something else—and spend the rest of the evening bringing that scene to life on canvas. I’ll pack up 30–60 minutes before the event ends to safely transport the painting back to my studio for finishing touches.

"What a Wonderful World”

Similar to Loui Armstrong known for his rough soulfulness, so will this package. It’s all about the heartfelt magic of the day, with color and brushstrokes that give the painting impressionistic energy. A very nice sized canvas ensures the focus remains on your love and as details can be in one night, and with a fast-paced approach, you’ll take it home by the end of the wedding night. It is the only package where you can take it home in the same night.

For those who want to think outside the box, this package is designed for couples who embrace an abstract or fantasy-driven approach to their wedding painting. You want a abstract background full of layers, Awesome! You want gold leaf? Of course I can do that! You want to be surrounded by fairies and dragons, or want wings yourself? You got it! With the incorporation of gold accents, whimsical elements, and imaginative features, this painting reflects your unique style and personal flair.

Canvas Size: Size will be decided upon a brainstorming session.
Painting Focus: The couple with abstract, fantasy, or artistic elements incorporated, including gold accents, surreal elements, or whimsical designs

“More Than a Moment”

For couples wanting an intimate, up-close portrait, this option takes your wedding painting to the next level by focusing on the couple in a highly detailed and personal way. We will use one of your engagement photos to create a stunning portrait, capturing the essence of your relationship with added preparation time for accuracy

Each package is designed to capture your love in a unique way—but one helpful thing to keep in mind:
More studio time means more detail.
If you’re looking for something simple and impressionistic, a package with minimal studio work may be perfect. But if you are looking for something more refined and personalized , choosing a package with more studio hours allows me the time to bring those details to life.

On-Site Painting

I’ll arrive 1-2 hours before the event to set up and begin the background. A Quick Note on Breaks

Because I’m on-site for several hours before and during the event, a short meal break is required at some point during the evening. A vendor meal or plate from the reception is perfect and very appreciated—it helps me stay focused and energized while I paint your big moment!

Delivery

Your finished painting will be ready for delivery about 5 to 16 weeks after the wedding, depending on the option and medium you choose. I spend extra time in the studio adding final details and a protective varnish to make sure it’s just right.

Acrylic: usually ready in 4–8 weeks
Oil: takes a bit longer, about 10–16 weeks to fully dry and finish

Retainer & Payment Policy

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking to reserve your wedding date. This amount is applied toward the total cost of your selected painting package.

Due to the custom nature of my work and the need to secure dates well in advance, this retainer is non-refundable. However, if your event is canceled more than 6 months prior to the wedding date, a partial refund may be offered.

The remaining balance is split into two additional payments:

25% is due on the day of the event
Final 25% is due at pickup or delivery of the completed painting

Travel & Accommodations

Local Weddings (Wichita and Derby area):

Travel is included in all package pricing.

Weddings Outside Wichita:

I love to travel and am happy to paint wherever your love takes you! Travel fees vary based on your wedding’s location and are calculated with your quote.

✧ First 50 miles are free
✧ $0.70 per mile beyond 50 miles
✧ Overnight stays (if needed): $200–$400 depending on distance
✧ Flights: Covered by the couple for destination weddings
✧ Two tickets are required (one for me and one for an assistant, for safety and support)

For Long-Distance or International Weddings:

To make sure I’m fully prepared (and on time!), I may need to arrive 2–3 days early and depart 1–2 days after. This allows time for travel delays and ensures I’m rested and ready to capture your big day!

A travel stipend may be added to cover meals, time, and downtime for extended trips.

You’ll receive a personalized travel estimate with your quote. I'm happy to work with you to make things simple and seamless!

Holiday Rates

1.5x the standard rate for events held on major holidays.
